The DACOS Omni Flex Plates set includes flexible upper and lower plates designed for universal integration with the DACOS Omni Flex system, compatible with any articulator. Their adaptable design allows installation in Light or Ultra sizes by using the dedicated Gemini calibrator, available as a free download after purchase.

Which size do I need?

Every DACOS Omni kit comes in three configurations. Pick by the cases your lab runs most.

Light — 35 mm

For daily crowns, bridges and veneers. Compact models mean less resin and shorter print times.

Ultra — 55 mm

Full clearance for implant work, All-on-X, multiple analogs and surgical models.

Duo — 35 + 55 mm

Both heights included — Light for daily efficiency, Ultra for complex cases. No future upgrade needed.

Every model you mount in stone pays twice: in bench minutes you never bill, and in remakes from transfer drift that never had to happen. Move the sliders with your real numbers — every assumption is conservative and editable.

The DACOS Omni Flex Plates ( Upper + Lower ) ($180) pays for itself on the first case you don't remake. With your numbers you recover it in 19 days on bench time and crown remakes alone — before counting a single full arch.

We don't inflate the remake number. DACOS doesn't fix marginal fit or esthetics — only occlusal drift. So we count only the share of remakes attributable to occlusion: ~9% on crown & bridge, ~35% on full-arch. On crowns that number is small, and we keep it small. The real money is in full-arch.

DACOS mount 5 min · crown remake 4% × occlusion 9% × $420 · full-arch rework 8% × occlusion 35%, cost anchored $300–$1,000. Rates from published data (National Dental PBRN 3.8%, Spear ~4%); defaults sit at the floor of their band. Change them to yours — the math is yours, not ours.

Those who know me know I've always been a bit skeptical about systems for repositioning 3D-printed models in an articulator. But Antonello designed this one differently, and it solves two key problems. The first is articulator calibration: thanks to the Gemini Calibrator, DACOS eliminates the level discrepancies caused by uncalibrated articulators. The second is the problem of having 3D-printing pins under the model: DACOS moves the anchoring level to a zone that doesn't interfere with the result or with seating the model on the articulator. It's one of the few systems on the market I really like.
